Want to help out with Homestead's biggest events, just not on the stage?  Here's how you can be a part of our community theatre productions, and maybe even score some tickets!  Whether it's volunteering time, items or money (we like money), there are lots of ways you can contribute.

We have the cast, but what about everyone else?  We need volunteers who are willing to take up these positions:

-Orchestra & Musicians

-Set Building

-Painting

-Hair & Makeup

-Crew - Stagehands, Lighting, Followspot Operators, Sound & More

-Marketing - Help us hang posters, hand out flyers, and generally get out the word!

Sometimes we need help with those hard to find items. We'll post prop lists here of things we're searching for.  If you're able to lend us one of these items, not only do you get to see it on stage, but we'll get you tickets to our invite-only dress rehearsal!

KIDS FULL THEATRE

GOT PEOPLE?

As part of our commitment to the community, we have four daytime performances that will be performed FREE for local groups on weekdays.  Priority is given to groups within Homestead and serving at-need persons.  The following performances are available for booking.

-Friday, June 22nd at 10am (IN THE HEIGHTS)

-Friday, August 3rd at 10am (ANNIE)

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
