Celebrate Military Appreciation Month with us by having some laughs.  In United We Stand-Up, we've got a hilarious line-up of comedians who have all served in the Armed Forces.  All seats just $15 ($10 for active duty and veterans).  The Seminole Theatre features comfortable seats, state of the art lighting and sound, and a full bar, of course.  Show is 8pm, Doors at 7pm.

Come early to enjoy the City of Homestead Military Appreciation Day next door in Losner Park.

Tickets are also available at the Seminole Theatre box office 18 N Krome Ave, Homestead or over the phone, open Tuesday-Saturday 12-6pm.  All sales are final, no refunds or exchanges.

Brendan Jay 01
Brendan Jay (U.S. Navy)

Originally from Philadelphia, Brendan Jay now calls Miami home. As a member of the United States Navy Brendan likes to discuss military life on stage but the true highlight of his performances are his spot on celebrity impressions. He is the winner of the 2018 Mizner Park Comedy Festival.

 Brett James (U.S. Air Force)

Affectionately known as the HALFRICAN AMERICAN, Brett James was born on the move. Raised by a military father, whom he followed into the Air Force himself, he brings his stories of life to the masses. Brett takes a unigue and hilarious look at being both black and white, growing up in a big family, being married and facing the possibilty of fatherhood, and more from his crazy life. He incorporates his life experiences with a fast paced style that will leave you wanting more.

Originally from Jacksonville, FL you can catch comedian Cesar Cordero as the host on two critically acclaimed podcasts: Straight Chilling and The Shortbox Podcast. He also is a proud Broadcast Journalist for the Florida National Guard.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
