Nu Deco Ensemble, Miami's virtuosic and eclectic chamber orchestra designed for the 21st century, will present a FREE daytime public concert at the Seminole Theatre on Thursday, May 26th.  

Through exciting and adventurous classical music performances, Nu Deco Ensemble presents various styles of music, art, and media collaborations in both traditional and alternative venues.

Working in conjunction with local musicians, composers, DJs, dancers, visual and media artists, Nu Deco Ensemble creates a new hybrid of compelling musical and multi-media experiences. Blending masterful musicianship with a wide range of repertoire from classical to pop, Nu Deco Ensemble strives to be South Florida’s leader in genre-bending musical exploration.

After a week of free performances at the Seminole Theatre for local schools in Homestead, Florida City, and South Miami-Dade County, Nu Deco Ensemble will also present a FREE daytime performance open to the general public on Thursday, May 26th at 12:00pm noon.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
