There are three days of open calls you only need to attend one.

1. This page is for Tuesday, September 5th from 7:00-10:00PM at the Seminole Theatre in Homestead, FL. 

2. Wednesday September 6th from 7:00-10:00 PM “Karaoke open call” at Lucky's Saloon, just down the street from the Seminole. CLICK HERE to RSVP.

3. Thursday,September 7th from 7:00-10:00 PM at the Seminole Theatre CLICK HERE to RSVP

After open calls, you may be invited back to one of two callbacks at the Seminole Theatre on Saturday,  September 9th from 2:00-5:00 PM or Sunday, September10th from 2:30-5:30 PM.

Audition Guidelines for Tuesday's and Thursday’s open call:

For Tuesday's open call, please prepare 16 measures of an upbeat song or ballad in your key. Choose a piece that you are comfortable with and one that shows off your strength. *SHEET MUSIC IS REQUIRED* - CD's or acapella would NOT be permitted. 

Dancers should be prepared to learn a routine. Everyone wear comfortable clothing and dance shoes. 

Audition Guidelines for Wednesday's open call:

If you're more comfortable singing Karaoke - come to Wednesday's open call at Lucky's Saloon, just down the street from the Seminole.  No sheet music is required, just bring yourself, your friends, and maybe pick up some liquid courage at the bar.

IMPORTANT - Please confirm at audition time that you are available for all performances, including daytime, and note any conflicts with rehearsals or tech week.  We will do our best to work around your schedule.

At The Theatre

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
