The Opera Atelier Inc. presents: Opera Meets Zarzuela
About the Program, Inc.
Opera Meets Zarzuela combines the Opera Juana Inés, about the life and times of trailblazing nun and intellectual Sor Juana Inés de la Cruz, as she navigates the conflicts between her religious vocation and her writing and studies, and the zarzuela La Revoltosa, depicting the highs and lows of love relationships of everyday people in an immigrant community in New York City.
