The Seminole Theatre hosted the Homestead Center for the Arts Bea Pesko Lunchtime Lecture Series on Monday, February 1, 2016.  

Fittingly, the lecture was about the history of the Seminole Theatre and titled the Past, Present and Future of the Seminole Theatre.

Our History

The Theatre originally opened on November 26, 1921 as a cinema, primarily showing the then popular silent movies. The Seminole Theatre quickly became the place to go for entertainment and social gatherings in South Dade County and the upper Keys.
